Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • 1 ½cups long grain rice
  • 32 oz chicken stock
  • 1 large can of tomato sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped finely
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped finely
  • 1 hungarian hot pepper

Instructions

Cover the bottom of a sauté pan with olive oil.

Add pepper, onion, garlic and Hungarian pepper and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add rice and stir consistently until the rice browns.

When the rice is browned, add chicken stock and simmer until it reduces by 1/2 .

Add the tomato sauce. Simmer on low until rice is completely done, stir frequently.

Notes

If you like it spicy, you can add more hot pepper. If you prefer less heat, you can remove the hungarian hot pepper.
